The Revived – The First AI Olympic Team for Fallen Ukraine Athletes.
The Paris 2024 Olympics stood for peace, unity, and human excellence. But for many Ukrainian athletes, that dream was lost to war. With #TheRevived, the world’s first AI Olympic team, they are given a symbolic chance to join the Games they never reached.
At its heart is Maksym Halinichev, a Ukrainian boxer killed at the front in 2023, aged just 22.
Alongside him: Anastasiia Honcharova, Fedir Iepifanov, Oleksandr Peleshenko, Mykyta Zasiadko, and Mykola Zhydkov — athletes who trained for greatness but never saw their Olympic moment.
Through AI, they have been digitally revived to share their stories — with the blessing of their families. In a moving film, they return — not to compete, but to be remembered — in the disciplines that once defined their dreams.
Supported by global ambassadors, the campaign reminds the world that behind every statistic of war are faces, voices, and hopes. It sparked worldwide attention and raised funds for de-mining and Ukraine’s recovery — a tribute that lives far beyond the Olympic arena.
