BVG at CSD: Real Diversity, Real Recruiting.
When it comes to recruiting, diversity is always a hot topic – so is rainbow-washing.
As Berlin’s third-largest employer, the BVG embraces diversity but wanted to take it even further. Instead of just showing support for the LGBTQ+ community, they turned Christopher Street Day 2022 into a live recruiting event.
Under the motto „Die nimmt doch jede*n“, the BVG didn’t just celebrate diversity – they actively recruited from within the community. With their own party truck at CSD Berlin, they engaged potential candidates in a space where diversity is at its core. Photographer Oliver Lang captured attendees in real-time, and the BBDO creative team transformed them into over 40 unique live job ads displayed on the truck’s LED screens.
This bold move was more than just employer branding – it was an authentic commitment to inclusivity and a direct invitation for talented individuals to drive Berlin forward. A clever mix of visibility, engagement, and real opportunity, proving that the BVG doesn’t just talk about diversity – it actively seeks it.
